Hablar de ingenier\u00eda es hablar de tecnolog\u00eda y hablar de tecnolog\u00eda es hablar de progreso y bienestar.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>tecnolog\u00eda<\/strong> evoluciona a una velocidad vertiginosa. Todos los d\u00edas ven la luz nuevas ideas con gran potencial de impacto en la sociedad. La creatividad carece de l\u00edmites, y el nuevo mundo global y conectado la impulsa. Hoy d\u00eda, nuestra capacidad de generar y desarrollar nuevas propuestas crece de un modo exponencial.<\/p>\n<p>La industria requiere de cada vez m\u00e1s y mejores profesionales capaces de generar negocio en \u00e1reas como la <strong>digitalizaci\u00f3n<\/strong> o la automatizaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, las competencias asociadas al ingeniero son demandadas para un cada vez m\u00e1s amplio abanico de \u00e1reas funcionales dentro de la empresa.<\/p>\n<p>La capacidad anal\u00edtica, su visi\u00f3n log\u00edstica, su habilidad para la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas, son competencias cada vez m\u00e1s valoradas en distintos \u00e1mbitos de la empresa. As\u00ed, los ingenieros son demandados para \u00e1reas funcionales tradicionalmente poco usuales.<\/p>\n<p>El \u00e1rea comercial de determinadas industrias necesita de profesionales con amplios conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos de su producto y capaces de desplegar proyectos \u201cad hoc\u201d para sus clientes para incrementar la cuota de mercado de sus empresas. Incluso el \u00e1rea de <strong>Gesti\u00f3n de Personas<\/strong> o Recursos Humanos demanda ingenieros para optimizar sus procesos de trabajo y la gesti\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Y no s\u00f3lo la industria, la demanda de ingenieros se incrementa en pr\u00e1cticamente cualquier empresa de cualquier sector.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la urgencia de incorporar nuevas tecnolog\u00edas capaces de acelerar la eficiencia en nuestra industria choca con la lenta adaptaci\u00f3n de nuestro sistema docente.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eic.cat\/sites\/default\/files\/observatori_enginyeria_2017.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019Observatori de l\u2019Enginyeria<\/span><\/a> presentado el pasado a\u00f1o 2017 (el \u00fanico de estas caracter\u00edsticas que existe a d\u00eda de hoy en Espa\u00f1a), Catalunya requerir\u00e1 de 29.000 nuevos ingenieros en la pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada, principalmente industriales e inform\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n<p>El n\u00famero de profesionales de las llamadas disciplinas <strong>STEM<\/strong> (ciencia, tecnolog\u00eda, ingenier\u00eda y matem\u00e1ticas) que la universidad es capaz de suministrar al tejido empresarial crece de forma inversamente proporcional a la necesidad de nuestra industria de incorporar dichos perfiles.<\/p>\n<p>El d\u00e9ficit de talento es ya una realidad, y el <em>gap<\/em> seguir\u00e1 creciendo durante los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Sectores como las TIC o la Automoci\u00f3n, con crecimiento claramente exponencial en nuestro entorno, se comportan de un modo endog\u00e1mico en cuanto a la atracci\u00f3n de profesionales. por la necesidad de adaptaci\u00f3n a la alta exigencia de su mercado, de reducir al m\u00ednimo la curva de aprendizaje de sus plantillas. Ello impulsa una tendencia a la caza del candidato del competidor que est\u00e1 dando lugar a una nueva guerra por el talento cuyas obvias consecuencias ya conocemos: despunte de la rotaci\u00f3n, inflaci\u00f3n de los salarios\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>El ingeniero es un perfil inquieto, le motiva encontrar proyectos en los que pueda desarrollar y aplicar tecnolog\u00edas nuevas, emprender iniciativas disruptivas, innovar y contribuir con su trabajo a la mejora del mundo en el que vive.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f3lo las empresas m\u00e1s atractivas podr\u00e1n, en consecuencia, atraer a los mejores ingenieros. Ello requiere a las compa\u00f1\u00edas un importante esfuerzo de comunicaci\u00f3n, un refuerzo imprescindible de su <em>employer branding<\/em> para ser capaces de captar el talento que necesitan para desarrollar sus proyectos con \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n<p>Incorporar a los mejores ingenieros para contribuir a desarrollar los mejores y m\u00e1s innovadores proyectos no va a ser tarea f\u00e1cil.
